Singing “I’m prouuuud to be an American! Where at least I know I’m freeee” at the assembly meetings in elementary school used to go pretty hard. Nothing felt as sweet as the victory of a perfect attendance award, the upcoming pizza party, and singing about patriotism at 8 am.
I never thought I’d miss the days of George dub-yuh but here we are.
